March bookclub wrapup!

I read 9 books in April, 2 of which were our March Bookclub picks!

Fantasy/dystopian pick: Daggermouth By H.M. Wolfe 4.5 ⭐️

Overall I did enjoy this book! It was very fast paced and had all the elements of fantasy and dystopian books that everyone is loving right now. The enemies to lovers felt like an actual true ENEMIES to lovers which was very refreshing, HOWEVER, the point where they go from enemies to lovers was so…awful…and weird and I couldn’t believe what I was reading so that was…something… there are alot of cringy moments throughout and the world building was lackluster. I do hope more of the dystopian elements will be explained and fleshed out in book 2. If you want to do full spoiler discussion please join my discord!

thriller book pick: The Mad Wife by Megan Church 4.5 ⭐️

I listened to this on audio in ONE DAY this was absolutely phenomenal! What a refreshing read in the thriller genre. I absolutely loved the ending and the overall message of this book. I have been wanting more out of the thriller genre lately so this 100% delivered. One of my new favorite books of all time for sure. This is not your typical fast paced, popcorn thriller. It is so much more than that! I really hope more people will give this book a shot
